Manufacturing Technicians: 0208-LRB-MfgTech

INB:Paxis Pharmaceuticals, in Boulder, CO, has immediate nightshift (7pm-7am) openings for experienced manufacturing technicians in our bulk manufacturing facility. Technicians will perform chemical transfers in a GMP environment while monitoring, documenting and troubleshooting the manufacturing process. Under general supervision, technicians will perform tasks associated with the manufacture of commercial products in accordance with established procedures. Duties may include cleaning, weighing, dispensing, mixing and/or transferring materials, following SOP’s, sampling, data collection/calculation, & setting up & operating process equipment.
Qualifications include a minimum of 2 year previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or a regulated GMP manufacturing environment. Basic mathematical, computer, organization & problem solving skills required. Title/pay is commensurate with applicable experience. Qualified candidates apply via email (preferred), fax, or mail. Synthetic Organic Technicians/Chemists: 0107-GSJ-Tech/Chem-WB ( Denver site)

 

InB: Hauser Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., providing chemistry services to the pharmaceutical industry as well as small scale API manufacturing, has opportunities for a variety of technician and chemist level positions in synthetic organic chemistry. Some of these positions are regular and some are temporary. Based on operational needs of the company and performance on job tasks, the temporary positions may become “temp to hire” with the potential of an offer of a regular position.

Selections dependent upon relevant combination of education and experience in the synthetic organic chemistry or closely related field. Positions require e xperience in multi-step organic synthesis and process development in an industrial setting. Must have good knowledge and experience in modern spectroscopic/chromatographic techniques, and good communication (writing and verbal) skills. Understanding of GMPs and GLPs a plus. Process Engineer: 0307-BLC-Eng-WB ( Boulder Site)

 

Paxis, located in Boulder, has an immediate opening for a Process Engineer responsible, under general supervision, for designing and improving various processes and technologies involved in the contract manufacturing of bulk pharmaceutical API products under cGMP guidelines.  Successful candidate will apply professionally accepted engineering techniques, practices and procedures to aid in the conception and development of engineering projects/tasks.  May compile and evaluate design/data to determine the engineering effectiveness of the results compared to requirements and specifications.

 

Additional responsibilities include the coordination of health and safety activities, as well as environmental activities with respect to hazardous waste, water and air, to support compliance with applicable regulations and the environmental health and safety program (EHS) at our Boulder and Denver sites. Duties include inspections, investigations and problem solving in order to eliminate hazards along with associated reporting and recordkeeping.

 

Requires a B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent. Required skills include ability to follow directives in a timely manner, prioritization and planning skills, troubleshooting strategies, effective communication skills to foster positive interaction with other departments, and technical skills to support the engineering function.   Process development and/or engineering exp on a production floor is preferred.   EHS experience a plus, although training is available as needed.
